Consider their first project, a collaboration with a U.S. -based manufacturer of industrial generators. SPOC Grid leveraged its expertise to add energy storage to those standard diesel-powered mobile generators (the kind you see on every construction site), dramatically slashing both the amount of fuel burned and carbon emissions produced. SPOC Grid is working today to convert diesel-powered service ships working around the world into hybrids, by adding inverters and energy storage (batteries).
